Gucci Fall-Winter 2014-2015 collection had some 1960s feeling to it. Short dresses and knee long boots, clean-lines trenches were some of the centerpieces of the collection. At the same time Frida Giannini offered new perspective of so-familiar 1960s-inspired mini dresses. The dresses were made from light leather of pastel colors – blue and beige. With rich embellishments, they were anything but casual. Animal-printed boots brought extra chic to the outfits.
There are many trends seen in Gucci Fall-Winter 2014-2015 which are likely to be copied by mass retailers. Be prepared to see such items as retro mini dresses and muted colors mohair trenches at fast-fashion retailers. Power suits with skinny pants are something that many career women/fans of skinnies will welcome into their wardrobes. Animal prints, such as leopard and snakeskin, in the form of accessories, would style up any casual look.
Among dominant colors of the collection: muted blue, muted khaki, baby blue, beige, light pink, yellow, black and white. The trending materials to try: leather, “teddy bear” fur and mohair. Personally, I love Gucci Fall-Winter 2014-2014 collection: the colors, the shapes, the textures, and the main theme. My most favorite piece was the mini dress where Frida Giannini combined classy combination of black-and-white and metallic trend (9:10). Beautiful piece!
