The hot summer days are still ahead, but we want to look further than that when it comes to fashion, especially if we are talking boots here – the trendiest boots of the upcoming season. There is something about boots which make a woman lose her head over them. Boots are not about warmth anymore, they are about making fashion statement; they are about feeling feminine and bold; they are about style and chic. So let’s have a look at the trendiest boots of fall-winter 2013-2014 season! Shall we get started?
Above the knee boots seem to be the hit for the second fall-winter season in a row; many fashion designers featured them in their Fall-Winter 2013-2014 collections.
My absolute favorite pair was featured at Balmain fashion show. To me, this pair of boots is just the epiphany of everything that I want to see in my boots – style, luxury and audaciousness. Love love love this pair! What about you?
There were various over the knee boots spotted at Chanel Fall-Winter 2013-2014 collection – and they were really tall boots – I guess this above-the-knee-trend is really expanding.
There were also above the knee boots at Blumarine fashion show – with the lace all the way up – kind of like combat boots, but much taller than usual.
Snakeskin boots seemed to rule the runways – snakeskin print, which has been trendy for several season, does not seem to be ready to give up the positions. I really loved snakeskin boots at Gucci Fall-Winter 2013-2014 fashion show. Along with classy black, there were orange and pink pairs of boots. Once you see them, it’s really hard to get them out of your mind! (at least this is how I feel about these pairs of beauties).
There were snakeskin boots at Derek Lam fashion show; all the boots in this collection were pointed wedge boots. I cannot say that these are my personal favorites, but I have to admit they look quite elegant.
One of the most unusual boots trends which just impossible not to notice was the boots which looked as shoes worn with long leather leg warmers. This is how those boots look like from the first site… but when you get a closer look, you realize that they actually are just one piece. This kind of footwear was spotted at several fashion shows, BCBG Max Azria and 1.3 Phillip Lim included. This shows one more time that boots stopped being practical a while ago…
Ankle booties continue to be trendy, and I particularly liked these pairs – from Antonio Berardi and Badgley Mischka collections. To me suede booties always look especially chic and beautiful.
This, of course, is an incomplete list of the trendiest boots of Fall-Winter 2013-2014 season. There were many more beautiful boots at the latest fashion shows, which we get to look at, admire and wear later on. Feel free to leave your comments telling us what your favorite boots are.
