Check out the hottest fall 2013 fashion trends! My goal was to introduce to you the most exciting fashion trends featured at the catwalks for Fall-Winter 2013-2014 season. There are so many fashion trends a real fashionista has to catch up on, that sometimes it can be even overwhelming! Fear not! Here is the list of top 10 most wearable fashion trends for the fall 2013. The great news is that you still have some time to explore fall 2013 fashion trends and to decide on the ones which are going to work for you in the following season!
# 1. Statement coats. It is all about unusual, attention-grabbing coats this fall 2013 season! Whatever it is that attracts you in a coat – whether bright color, color blocking, texture mixing, unusual print, oversize silhouette, fur , colored leather or beaded embellishments – this something will also attract others’ attention when you wear it! If you want to splurge on a coat this fall, by all means go for something unusual.
# 2. Classy patterns. Fall 2013 fashion trends offer us so many choices. If something ultra-trendy and short-lived, such as statement coats, are not for you, do not be discouraged – there are still plenty of fashion trends to explore. Fall-Winter 2013-2014 season is also about classy prints – Prince of Wales, Houndstooth – some of these names may sound unfamiliar, but chances are you have seen the actual prints before (after all, it’s classy prints trend!). You can rock a suit with classy print, as we have seen it in Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2013 collection, or you can combine classy printed items with monochromatic ones.
# 3. Slouchy pants. Even though there have been lots of skinny pants on the runways as well, seems as oversize pants are one of the hits of Fall 2013 season . Good news for those of you who dislike skinnies – by all means go for wide-leg pants this fall! For the best look combine your slouchy pants with a fitted shirt or jacket. For those of you who do like skinny pants – there is no need to worry – skinnies are still going to be in style (and they come really handy when it comes to layering – the next fashion trend on our hot list!)
# 4. Layering. Many fashion designers took layering to the next level for Fall-Winter 2013-2014 season. Is layering the easiest trend to pull off? I wouldn’t say so. Is it the most wearable trend of all? Probably not! But it is so intriguing and funky, that I just could not go without mentioning it. Actually, when it comes to layering, another fashion trend – 1990s grunge – comes to mind. When you mix and match seemingly unsuitable items, textures and styles – you may come up with unexpectedly interesting results.
# 5. Minimalism. Minimalism is completely opposite to layering; it offers lots of room for experimenting while sticking to simple, clean lines and silhouettes. Having been always in style, minimalism featured at the runways for fall-winter 2013-2014 season is feminine and ultra-chic.
This is just half of the list of top fall 2013 fashion trends that has been covered! Here is the second part of the article.
